

Angelo D. Borino, 91, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2016. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Alessandro and Assunta (Leva) Borino; father of Kenneth A. Sr. and Ronald A. Borino and Lori A. Borino-Prete; grandfather of Kenneth A. Jr., and Kristopher Borino and Nickolas Borino and his wife Marisa, Louis Prete and Hailee Borino; great-grandfather of Mila and Aria Borino. He also leaves his former wife, Norma L. (Lepore) Borino and several generations of nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Mary Delfino, Theresa Puleo, Rose Martellucci, Edith LeTarte, Elisa “Betty” Ruggiero and Pasco, Salvatore, Albert, and Alfred Borino.
Angelo was a WWII Navy veteran, past President of Wanskuck Boys & Girls Club, Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus (#1618) and owner and operator of United Electric Company of Providence.
Visitation and funeral, Wednesday 8:30-9:30 in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept.142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
