

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Angela (DeFedele) DeCesaro.
Ann was the devoted mother of Joseph L. Pennacchia Jr., Michael Pennacchia, Angela Pennacchia, Jessica Pennacchia, and Shalina Pennacchia; proud and loving grandmother to 13 grandchildren; adored sister of Peter DeCesaro; and beloved mother-in-law.
Ann was the heart and soul of her family—the glue that held everyone together. She was known for her strength, her selflessness, and the deep love she gave so freely. Her unwavering dedication to her family and her fierce pride in them defined her life. Ann was deeply loved by all who knew her because of the way she loved others—with her whole heart.
Her legacy of love, strength, and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 18, 2025, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Romano Funeral Home, 627 Union Ave, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bartholomew Church, 297 Laurel Hill Ave, Providence. Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
