Anna Emily Folcarelli Caracciolo

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Tomaso and Francesca (D’Amata) Folcarelli.

Anna worked for Sea Board Foundry of Johnston as Office Manager for 50 years until its closing. She was also a well-known Opera singer. Anna performed with stars from the Metropolitan Opera of New York, The Rhode Island Opera Company and Bell Conto Opera Company of RI. She also sang for the St. Rocco, St. Brigid and Holy Ghost Church choirs.

She was the sister of Anthony Folcarelli and his wife Diane of Roseville, CA and the late Giovanni Folcarelli, ESQ. and former Lt. Governor for the State of RI and Louis and Thomas Folcarelli, Jr.; aunt of 5 nieces and 5 nephews and many great nieces and nephews and 1 great great nephew and godmother to many.

Her funeral and visitation will be held Wednesday at 9:30 am from the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Brigid Church, 1231 Plainfield Street, Johnston.
