Anna Carlevale

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Andomeiglio and Assunta (Zanghi) Santagata.

Anna worked in the jewelry industry for many years. She was also the matriarch of the family whom everyone loved. She was the glue that held us all together.

She was the mother of Joseph Mallozzi of Maine, Dennis Mallozzi of Woonsocket, Linda Mullen of Bristol, R. Christine McAllister and her husband Michael of Foster, Deborah Quirini and her husband Paul of South Carolina and the late Robert Mallozzi and Romolo Carlevale; grandmother of 18; great grandmother of many and sister of Joseph Santagata and his wife Doris and Edith Rossi. She was also the sister of the late Andomeiglio, Louie and Andrew Santagata and Susie Carlevale.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:30 am in the Romano Funeral Home, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a service in the funeral home at 10:00 am. Burial to follow in St. Ann Cemetery.
