Providence-Kane, Anna M.(Kalanta), 100, of Huldah St., died Thursday at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. She was the wife of the late John F. Kane.Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Mary (Shamarakas) Kalanta. Mrs. Kane worked as a sewer for the former Paragon-Worsted Mills in Providence for many years.She leaves a daughter, Anne Kane of Provincetown, MA. She was the sister of the late Felix, Anthony and Joseph Kalanta, Helen Narus and Theresa Clingham.Funeral will be Monday at 10:00am from the Russell J. Boyle&Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith St. Providence. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am in St. Mary Church, Broadway, Providence. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
