Providence: Viti, Annette J. (LaPorte), 87, of Bradley St., passed away on December 14, 2010 at Heritage Hills Nursing Centre. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank V. Viti. Born in Granby, Canada, she was a daughter of the late Phillip and Alice (Poirier) LaPorte.Annette was an avid bingo player and a loyal Boston Bruins and Red Sox fan. She is survived by her two sons, Thomas R. Viti of Englewood, FL and Robert B.Viti of Cranston, her daughter in law, Patricia J. Viti of Providence, her sister, Laurence Zompa and three grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Frank J. Viti and sister of the late Romeo, Raymond and Fabian LaPorte and Mary Medeiros. Her funeral and visitation will be held on Friday at 8:00 am from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith St., Providence. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am in St. Pius V. Church, Eaton St., Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations to Heritage Hills Nursing Centre, 80 Douglas Pike, Smithfield, RI 02917, in her memory would be appreciated.
