Anthony Thomas Allegretti

Born in Providence son of the late Gaetano and Christina (DeConcilis) Allegretti. Husband of the late Margaret D. (Darmanjian) Allegretti. He also leaves his loving companion, Theresa Eisen. Father of Steven Allegretti, CPA, and his wife Cindy, Scott A. Allegretti, D.D.S., and his partner, Brett McNeilly and Diane Allegretti Neumann, and her husband, Kurt. Grandfather of, Andrew Allegretti, M.D., and his wife Jessica, M.D., Jason Allegretti, CPA, and his wife Sara. Great-Grandchildren, Tyler, Zoey and Jackson Allegretti. Brother of the late, Lillian D’Ovidio, Marion Testa, Paula Grant, and Jean Gauthier. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Anthony was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving in the Korean War. He received his MBA from Bryant University and went on to be an accomplished businessman. He owned and operated a successful CPA practice for 65 years and was a real estate developer. Anthony took great pride in coaching youth sports especially coaching his children. He was a member of the Smithfield Sportsman’s Club and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Anthony cherished time with family and friends.

Visitation will be held, Friday at 10:30 AM followed by a service at 11:30 AM in the Pontarelli-Marino Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Graveside burial with military honors will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
