Anthony DiFilippo, 84, of Lake Worth, FL and formerly of Greenville, RI, passed away March 24, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Mary (Caranci) DiFilippo. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Nicholas and Mary (Mae) DiFilippo.
Anthony was the loving father of Elaine Wallor and her husband, Michael of Naples, FL, and Nicholas DiFilippo and his wife Jessica, of Narragansett. He was the proud "Grandpa Di" of Nicholas, Mark and Jackson DiFilippo. He was the beloved brother of Placido DiFilippo and his wife, Marcella of North Providence. He was also the brother of the late David DiFilippo.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, April 23rd at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Special Olympics Rhode Island, 370 George Washington Highway, Smithfield, RI 02917.
