

Anthony Licciardi, 96, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 14, 2025. He was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy M. (Pavao) Licciardi and son of the late Tindaro Licciardi and Rosa (Guiffre) Licciardi.
He was the loving father of Rosemary D. Theriault and her late husband Michael P. Theriault, Catherine A. Guertin and her husband David Guertin, Donna J. Provost, and Deborah J. Licciardi. He was also a cherished brother to Theresa Bates, and was predeceased by his siblings Salvatore, Frank, Joseph, Carmello, Rose Licciardi and Mary Barresi; grandfather of William M. Provost and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Anthony also treasured his years with the late family poodle Teddy.
Anthony worked as a skilled carpenter with the Carpenters Union for many years before his retirement. Among his proudest accomplishments was building his own home with family in Cranston, a testament to his craftsmanship and dedication.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 9:30 am to 10:30 a.m. in the Romano Funeral Home, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial to follow in St. Ann Cemetery.
He will be remembered for his hard work, devotion to family, and the warmth he brought to those around him at Briarcliffe Gardens in his last years.
