Beloved mother of Amelia Pontarelli and her husband Dr. Frank Pontarelli, Joanne Avella and Ann Marie Brant and the late Rita Olivelli, RN; cherished grandmother of Dr. Brian Pontarelli, Kimberly Vassalluzzo, Jillian Avella, Jason and Lindsay Brant and 9 great-grandchildren; sister of the late Elvera Sassi, Mario and Ferucio Olivelli.
Etta enjoyed cooking and being with family for holidays and family functions.
Visitation will be held Friday, 4-7 p.m. with a funeral on Saturday at 10 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
