Born in Pawtucket he was the son of the late James and Florence ( Greenwood ) Mills.
Arthur was a chemist for Narragansett Electric and National Grid for 35 years retiring in 1998.
Besides his wife, Arthur is survived by his children, Arthur P. Mills of Coventry and Kelly E. Mills of Providence, his brothers, Richard Mills and Leonard Mills.
He was brother of the late Albert, James and Catherine Mills.
Services were private and at the convenience of the family.
