JOHNSTON - DOYLE, Beatrice A., 88, of Old Pocasset Lane, died Sunday at The Miriam Hospital. She was the wife of the late Robert E. Doyle. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Peter and Alma (St. Pierre) Lessard, she had lived in the Mt. Pleasant neighborhood in Providence for most of her life. Mrs. Doyle was a homemaker, who made her family her first and foremost priority. She was a communicant of the Church of the Blessed Sacrament. She is survived by her son MSgt. Robert E. Doyle, Jr, (RIANG) and his wife Karen of Uxbridge, MA; a sister Anita Ortelt of West Warwick; her grandchildren Michael P. Doyle, Karen L. Morrissey and her husband Mark, Robert J. Doyle and Kristopher W. Collins, and her great grandchildren Madison and Garrett Doyle. She was the sister of the late Theodore Lessard and Annette Flock. Her funeral will be Wednesday at 9:00 am from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, 179 Academy Avenue, Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 4-8pm.
