Simpson, Beatrice E.(Tandy) age 94 formerly of Orms St., Providence, passed away on October 14th at Elmhurst Extended Care. She was the beloved wife of the late Harold Simpson. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Howard B. and Elizabeth(Hoppe)Tandy. Before retiring in 1970, she was the co-owner of the former Smith Hill Fish Market for over 45 years. Mrs. Simpson was a 1934 graduate of Cranston High, a 1935 graduate of Bryant-Stratton College, with a degree in secretarial science, and a 1952 graduate of the University of RI with a certificate in real estate. She was also a volunteer for Save the Bay, and Hemophilia Assoc. of RI for many years. She is survived by 1 nephew, Philip Tandy of No. Kingstown, two nieces, Beverly Tartaglia of Johnston and Audrey Doris of Smithfield. She was also the Sister of the late Howard C. Tandy and Gladys H. Doris. A funeral service will be held on SATURDAY at 10am in The RUSSELL J. BOYLE & SON Funeral Home 331 Smith St., PROVIDENCE, interment will follow in Pocasset Cemetery.
