Providence Carlos C. Resendes, 52, of Georgia Avenue, died Friday at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Santa Maria, Portugal, he was a son of the late Joao and Virginia (Puim) Resendes.Carlos leaves a daughter, Sandra M. Resendes; a son, David A. Resendes; three sisters, Cidalia Resendes, Esmeralda Travers, Louisa Resendes; two brothers, Gilbert Resendes and Rui Resendes; two grandchildren, Alexander Resendes and Layla DiCicco; and his companion, Rosa Paliotta. The funeral will be held Thursday, at 7:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am in Saint Rocco Church, Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Visiting hours Wednesday, 4 - 7 pm.
