Carmela D. Colaluca

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late John and Maria (Mazzagatti) Longo.

Carmela cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She took great pleasure in making others happy and loved to watch her birdfeeder. She was also a devoted communicant of St. Augustine’s Church.

She was the loving mother of Lawrence “Larry” Colaluca, Jr. and his late wife Anne, John Colaluca and his wife Lisa and Lisa Colaluca and her husband Thomas Bennett; grandmother of 9 and great grandmother of 14. She was also the sister of Frank Longo and the late John and Philip Longo.

Her visitation and funeral will be held Thursday, December 4, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM in the PONTARELLI-MARINO FUNERAL HOME, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Providence. Burial to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
