Stock, Catherine, R. (Hodnett), age 93 of Providence, passed away on March 17, 2011 at The RI Veterans Home in Bristol.Born in Providence, She was the daughter of the late John and Alice(McLaughlin)Hodnett. She was the beloved wife of the late Nigel Stock, and loving mother of Robert Stock of Shelburne,Vermont. Sister of John Hodnett of Edina, MN. Grandmother of David and his wife Kathleen of Annapolis, MD and Nicole Deschambault of Biddeford, ME. Great-grandmother of Aidan and Keira Stock. She also leaves several nieces, nephews, and special friends Judy and Walter Check. Catherine was a First LT. Army Veteran of WWII, having served as an RN with the 48th Evacuation Hospital. She was a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Nursing and the University of Rhode Island. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on MONDAY at 10:30am in St. Pius V Church in Providence.
