West Warwick Catherine Ann Wood, 56, of Bridge Street, died unexpectedly last Saturday at home. She was the wife of the late Edward J. Wood. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Robert and Eileen (Bradley) Dinwoodie, she lived in West Warwick for most of her life. Catherine was a claims examiner at the Providence Office of the Internal Revenue Service for many years before her recent retirement. She leaves two sons, Benjamin J. Wood, and his wife Carrie, and Edward I. Wood; a daughter, Margaret A. Wood; six brothers, Michael Dinwoodie, Robert Dinwoodie, James Dinwoodie, Jason Dinwoodie, Ryan Dinwoodie and Sean Dinwoodie; a sister, Mary Lucas; and eight loving grandchildren. Visiting hours, to which relatives and friends are invited, will be Friday evening, 5 - 7 pm, in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, (Rt.117) Warwick. The funeral will be private.
