Cecilia D. Faccenda

Born in Belfast, Ireland, she was the daughter of the late James and Isabel Fitzpatrick.

Cecilia worked for the former Providence Postal Credit Union starting as a teller and worked her way to loan officer. She also worked as a sales associate for J.C. Penney before retiring.

Cecilia enjoyed traveling, attending the theater with her friends and music, having sung in the church choir most of her life.

She was the loving mother of Bronagh Laliberte and her husband Philip, Joseph A. Faccenda and Ciara Faccenda, grandmother of Nicholas and Mathias and great grandmother of Ezra. She was also the sister of Gerry Fitzpatrick and the late Noel Fitzpatrick and Kay Prendergast.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 16, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the PONTARELLI-MARINO FUNERAL HOME, 971 Branch Avenue., Providence.

Funeral will be held Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 10:00 AM from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue., North Providence. Burial to follow in RI Veteran Cemetery, Exeter.
