ProvidenceCharles R. Connors, 48, died Sunday at Rhode Island Hospital after an automobile accident on the I-195 on ramp at Wickenden Street, Providence. Born in Providence, he was a son of Gerturde C. (Fortin) Connors, with whom he lived, and the late Charles A. Connors. Charles was the Visual Director for Macy's of Boston. He was employed by the Company for over twenty years. Besides his mother, he leaves a sister, Ann Marie Rego, and her husband, Anthony Rego. The funeral will be held on Thursday, at 8:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Augustine Church, Mount Pleasant Avenue. Visiting hours Wednesday 5-8 pm. Burial in Saint Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
