

A lifelong resident of Providence, he was the son of the late William F. and Grace E. (Sousa) Pace.
Mr. Pace was a maintenance engineer for Our Lady of Loreto Church, East Providence and had also been a home builder, an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War, a member of the Tri-City Elks Lodge #14 and the Tri-Town Rod & Gun Club.
He was the loving father of Marjorie A. Forster and her husband Michael, Sheila M. Gregelevich and her husband Peter, Lori A. Charron and her husband Don and Lisa M. Saritelli and her husband Steven; proud grandfather of Richard Collins, Jr., Donald Charron, Jr., Steven Saritelli, Jr. and Michael Saritelli and brother of James E. Pace and the late William R. Pace and Mary B. Manni. He was the companion of Irene Norstad.
His funeral will be held Monday at 8:00 am from the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am in St. Bartholomew’s Church, Laurel Hill Avenue, Providence. Burial with Military Honors to follow in the R.I. Veteran’s Cemetery, Exeter. VISITATION SUNDAY 4-7 PM.
