Cheryl was a devoted and loving mother to her sons Michael, Peter and Matthew Furia. She was also a cherished sister of Charlotte Bruno and her husband Robert, and Janice Flanagan and her husband Robert Feinberg.
A homemaker for most of her life, Cheryl found her greatest joy in caring for her family. Her love, dedication, and nurturing spirit shaped the lives of her children and touched all who knew her. She will be remembered for her quiet strength, kindness, and unwavering devotion to those she loved most.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2026, from 8:30–9:30 AM at Romano Funeral Home, 627 Union Avenue, Providence, RI 02909. Following the visitation, relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Raymond’s Church, 1240 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
Burial will be private.
Cheryl’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and all who were blessed to know her.
