A life well lived, Claire Patricia (Isabelle) Comire, lovingly known to many as Pat or Memere Pat, married the love of her life, Marcel Comire, whose unwavering love remained until his last breath. In their fifty-five years together, Pat and Marcel raised their four children in a loving home in Manville. They welcomed eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren into their family with whom she shared a rare and profound bond. She nurtured friendships that lasted a lifetime and inspired countless others on her journey through life. Her Thanksgiving table filled with family, lifelong friends, neighbors, and newly found friends spoke volumes of her kindness and generosity.
Pat grew up in Bellingham, MA before marrying and living most of her years in Manville, RI. Both Marcel and Pat retired to Lakeland, FL in 2002 and, for the past nine years, she resided in Cumberland, RI. She was a lifelong seamstress, but her true calling was taking care of children, opening her home to many, many families. She loved spending time with her friends either at crochet class or puzzle group. But it was with her grandchildren, she was most happy! Their visits were many and most treasured!
Her memories will live on through her four children, Troy Comire and his wife, Kim; Patty Mueller and her husband Jeff; Cindy Croteau and her husband Joe and Kristina Delgado; her grandchildren, Amanda Azar, Joseph Comire, Butch and Heidi Giguere, Julie, Amanda and Jake Mueller and Ethan Delgado and her three great grandchildren, Amelia, Henry and Annie Azar and her sister, Doris Brunette.
May all who loved and cherished Pat take solace in knowing that she is reunited with her beloved husband, Marcel, her parents, Leo and Helene Isabelle and her sisters, Pauline and Gloria in heaven.
For God has given Pat her angel wings, and as she shines her light down from heaven, may we spread love, kindness and compassion here on Earth.
The family will receive friends and family Saturday, November 22, 2025 from 10:00-11:00 am in St. James Church, 33 Division Street, Manville, RI followed by her Mass of Christian at 11:00 am. Burial is private.
