Claire M. LaChapelle

Warwick Claire M. LaChapelle, 80, of Hardig Road, died Sunday, October 16, 2016, at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of the late Joseph M. Flaherty and the late Robert A. Paolo.Born in Attleboro, MA she was a daughter of the late Victor and Lillian (Chartier) LaChapelle.Claire was a merchandise manager for the Paradies Company at T.F. Green Airport for many years. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and was a faithful communicant of Saint Augustine Church.She leaves two daughters, Cheryl A. Rossi and her husband Ronald and Kathleen L. Rocha and her husband Anthony, MD; a son, Dennis M. Flaherty and his wife Dorothy; a brother, Robert LaChapelle: two sisters, Susan Houde and Linda Burchett; six loving grandchildren, Loren, Michael, Stephen and his wife Christine, Rebecca, Andrew and James; and a great grandson, Ralph. She was predeceased by a son, Stephen M. Flaherty, and was a sister of the late Elaine LaFerriere and grandmother of the late Ronald Rossi, Jr.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning, at 10:00 am, in Saint Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Avenue, Providence, to which relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, donations to Saint Jude Childrens Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105, in her memory will be appreciated. Arrangements by Russell J. Boyle & Son.
