Claire Renzi

Claire H. Renzi, 78, entered into eternal rest peacefully surrounded by her children. She was the loving wife of the late John R. Renzi, Sr. who passed away on November 26, 2011. They shared an everlasting love and were dedicated to each other until they were called to Heaven. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late William and Lillian (Gibson) Allen. Claire was the devoted mother of Janice A. Gelardi, Lynn A. Breggia and husband John, John R. Renzi, Jr. and Lisa M. Pernorio and husband John; cherished grandmother of Caitlin, Alessandra, Joshua, Anthony, Jacob and Matthew; sister of Doris Beattie, Gene Allen and the late William Allen and Phyllis Kelley. Mrs. Renzi dedicated her life to her family as a loving and nurturing wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Throughout her life and illness, she never complained and always wore a beaming smile. She taught everyone how to be strong and positive. Claire enjoyed living life to the fullest and will always be remembered. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday at 10 a.m. in The Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 1081 Mineral Spring Avenue North Providence.
