Claude Michael “Mike” Perlingiero, 67, passed away August 11, 2016 at Rhode Island Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Betty A. Perlingiero; devoted father of Tracy M. Moran and her husband Bill, Wendy A. Machado and her husband Ed and Nicole C. Perlingiero-Cutting; cherished grandfather of Michael, Joshua, Cassie, Gillian, Carson and Chace. Son of the late Claudio Perlingiero and Peggy Smith and loving brother of Judy Baker of Kansas, the late Jacquelyn Tuso and Vincent “Jim” Perlingiero.
Before retiring, Mike was an instructor for the New England Laborer’s Training Academy. He was a master craftsman who built exquisite furniture and homes. He was an avid Yankee’s fan. The love and joy of his life was spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Visitation and funeral will be held Tuesday, August 16th, 9 – 11 a.m. followed by a prayer service at 11 a.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Funeral Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Autism Project, 1516 Atwood Avenue, Johnston, RI 02919.
