

Coy Guy Allen, 54, a resident of Providence, passed away peacefully at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence surrounded by his family on January 5th, 2024, after a long and courageous fight with cancer.
Born in Altus, OK to Vicky Triplett of Belleville, IL and the late Coy D. Allen, of Altus, OK. Coy was the husband and best friend to Marc Bullough for 27 years. They met in Lawton, OK, where they lived until moving to Providence in 2002 for a fresh start in life and to be closer to family.
Coy is survived by his sister Terra Haps and late brother Scotty Triplett, sister Tari Valadez and brother John Allen, Aunts Betty Collier, Joyce Stephenson, In-laws Sandy and Phil Ogiba, and John and Sloane Bullough, nieces Danielle Coover, Bailey Belcher, Honorah Bullough, Katrina Pike, Stephanie Mallar Clark, and nephews Cody Haps, Jacob Kettler, Matthias Bullough, and his many cousins in Oklahoma. He also leaves behind his lifelong friends in Lawton, OK, and his good friends Brandon Sita, Tom Pilozzi, Keith Perry, and Jennifer Houle.
While in RI, Coy worked for the Agawam Hunt Country Club in East Providence RI, the W Salon as a hairstylist and as a cosmetology instructor at The Paul Mitchell School in Cranston, RI.
Coy had such a great personality and big spirit that will forever be with all of us. Always fun loving and the life of the party, Coy enjoyed having family and friends over for backyard bbq’s, especially on Memorial Day, the 4th of July, and Labor Day. He loved sitting by a campfire, summers at Misquamicut beach, traveling, smoking ribs, darts, and having horseshoe tournaments in the backyard.
A Celebration of Life for Coy will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the PONTARELLI-MARINO FUNERAL HOME, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence followed by a Service in the funeral home at 7:00 PM. Burial will be held in Agawam Massachusetts Veteran Cemetery at a later date. Funeral service will be livestreamed through our website at www.pontarellimarinofunerals.com.
