Born in Providence, he was a beloved son of Theresa Marie Ann (Johnson) Charette-Rega and the late Donald E. Charette and the late Anthony J. Rega.
Dennis was a 1978 graduate of Johnston High School. He was an independent contractor before retiring and he proudly served in the United States Army.
He was the devoted brother of Theresa M. Charette of North Smithfield and Tammy J. Rega of Johnston and the late Donald J. Charette; adored uncle of Amanda Colacone; father of Dennis, Michael and his wife Kayla, and Christopher Charette and grandfather of 3.
His visitation will be held Tuesday, October 10, 2023 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the Pontarelli-Marino Home, 971 Branch Ave, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, 15 George Waterman Rd, Johnston. Graveside burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
