Dennis James Sousa

Dennis was the son of the late George & Anglina Sousa.

Dennis was a life long resident of Providence. Dennis spent most of his life in the Federal Hill area of Providence.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Germano.

Dennis leaves behind three children: Keith Fairman ( Boca Raton FL ), Kerrie Goddard ( West Warwick RI ) & Sabrina Germano ( step-daughter ) ( Woonsocket RI ).

Dennis leaves behind 6 grandchildren.

Dennis is survived by two brothers: John & Robert Sousa, both of Providence. Three sisters: Linda Shad ( Warren ), Lorie Sousa ( Providence ) & Georgianna Sousa ( Cranston ).

Dennis is predeceased by his brothers William & George Sousa & his sister Marguerite Boccanfuso.

Dennis is also survived by many nephews, nieces & great-nephews & great-nieces.

Dennis enjoyed cooking, singing, watching his favorite classic TV shows & movies and spending time with family & friends. Dennis also enjoyed giving back to his community by volunteering at numerous community centers & attending church.

One of Dennis's wishes in life was to marry his long-term partner of 23 years, Deborah. Deborah was Dennis's best friend and the love of his life. In January of 2025, Dennis fulfilled that wish. It was one of the happiest days of his life.

Visitation for Dennis will be held Friday, February 14, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 am followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am in the Russell J Boyle and Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence, RI. Burial at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
