Dennis J. Vieira, 67, passed November 18, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Darlene E. (O’Brien) Vieira. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Manuel and Nancy (Ferrucci) Vieira. He was the father of Melody Vieira and Melissa Vieira-Botelho; grandfather of Mathieu Florio, Megan Florio, Macayla Botelho and Marco Botelho Jr.; great-grandfather of Ava-Marie Richards. He was the brother of Richard Vieira Sr., Anthony Vieira, Manuel Vieira and the late Ora Mansuetti, Elizabeth Coelho, Catherine Pino, Edward and Herbert Vieira. He also leaves his dog Buddy.
Dennis was a business owner for over 30 years of D&L Antiques as well as many other small businesses. He enjoyed watching movies, loved animals and loved to spend time with his family.
Visitation and funeral will be held Wednesday 8:30-10:30 a.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in The Church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 1081 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
