Dina “Diane” (Mazzoncini) Almeida, 92, passed away August 21, 2016. She was the wife of the late Alfred E. Almeida Sr.; mother of David A. Almeida and Kenneth D. Almeida and his wife Hertha, and the late Alfred Almeida Jr.; grandmother of Kenneth, Alfred, Denise, Kevin, Nicole, Dina, Allison and William and great-grandmother of 14.
Visitation and funeral will be held Wednesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. from PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in St. Edward Church, 997 Branch Avenue, Providence followed by burial in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Edward Food & Wellness Center, 997 Branch Avenue, Providence, RI 02904.
