Doris A. West

West, Doris A. (Jones), age 90 of Social Dr., passed away on April 18, 2010 at Kent Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond R. West. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Mary (Dolan) Jones. Mrs. West was a loving and caring person who was devoted to her family, and will be missed by many. She was a leading member of Washington Park Citizens Assoc., a past president of Broad St P T A and was active with the Camp Fire Girls for over 12 years. She was the loving mother of Raymond R. West, Jr. of Saunderstown, Susan F. St. Jean of Warwick, and Kathleen M. Mullaney of Downingtown, PA. She was the grandmother of 8 and great-grandmother of 5. She was also the sister of the late Elizabeth Dailey and Eleanore Jones Her funeral will be held on THURSDAY at 9:45am from The RUSSELL J. BOYLE & SON Funeral Home 142 Centerville Rd., WARWICK, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Kevin Church, 333 Sandy Lane, Warwick. Interment will follow in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
