

Earl F. Pasbach, Esq., 83, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at the South County Hospital, in Wakefield. Born in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of the late Earl F. and Mary M. (White) Pasbach.During his childhood he attended public and parochial schools in Providence. He graduated from LaSalle Academy, Providence College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and Boston College School of Law with a J.D. in 1959. Earl was an Attorney at Law in Providence from 1964-1979 and 1981 to present time. He was Staff Director Counsel, Subcommittee on Labor Standards with the United States House of Representatives in Washington D.C. from 1979-1981. From 1962-1964 he worked with Crowe, Hetherington, and Chester Attorneys at Law. Earl was also a member of the Rhode Island General Assembly as a State Representative in the 86th District from 1969-1977. He served his country proudly with the United States Army during the Korean War. Mr. Pasbach also was a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association, and was a past president and recording secretary of the Rhode Island Short Story Club. He was on the Board of Directors for Washington Oaks.An avid lover of poetry, he was an award winning poet. He published a book of poems titled "perspectives", and also single poems in "American Anthropology of Poetry". He leaves two sisters, Joan Migneault, of Colorado Spring, CO and Mary E. "Evie" Post, of Santa Clara, CA; several nieces and nephews; his dear friend, Jill Coleman, of Wakefield; and friend and secretary, Leanne DeCesare, of Warwick; He was predeceased by his sister, Anne Dionne. Earl also leaves his two cats "His Babies" Cuddles and Misty.Earl's funeral will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 8:30 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am, in Saint Patrick Church, 244 Smith Street, Providence. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday, April 2nd, from 3:00-7:00pm.
