She was a member of Tifereth Israel Congregation, the National Council of Jewish Women, and the Jewish Federation of Greater New Bedford. Edith held a special place in her heart for the New Bedford Whaling Museum where she served as a volunteer docent for many years. She is survived by her daughter, Jane Fain, and her husband, Gerald, of Framingham; her son, Steven Beserosky, of Dartmouth; and three grandchildren, Lucas and Ellice Fain, and Melanie Beserosky.
