He was the son of the late Alfred and Alice (Turcotte) Lefebvre; husband of Dolores J. (Mattera) Lefebvre; father of Alfred C. Lefebvre, Linda Fernandes and her husband Wayne, and the late Carole A. Saccoccio; grandfather of Jake Fernandes, and Krysta Jensen and Kayla Saccoccio; brother of Rita Calitri, Doris Graham, Clair Hoogasian, and the late Gerard Lefebvre and Beatrice Arias.
Eddie had worked as a truck driver for the Teamsters Local 251 and had served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Visitation will be held Sunday, 3-6 p.m. with his funeral on Monday at 8:30 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Rocco Church, 927 Atwood Avenue, Johnston, followed by burial with military honors in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
