Edward Imondi

Edward (Eddie) Imondi, age 88, of North Providence, RI, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2025. Eddie was the husband of the late Diana (Medeiros) Imondi, and the beloved father of the late Edward Daniel Imondi.

He leaves behind his cherished companion of 36 years, Deborah D’Andrea, and his stepdaughter, Kim D’Andrea.

He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Edward S. Imondi, Matthew E. Imondi, Angelo G. Fraielli, Kristin D. Imondi, and Mikayla E. Imondi; his great grandchildren, Samaya L. Imondi, Aria R. Imondi, Mila Imondi, and Jerrence Imondi. He also leaves behind his daughter in-law, Pompea Imondi.

He is the brother of Marilyn (Imondi) Santagata, the late Gustino R. Imondi, and the late Robert Imondi.

Eddie’s most cherished times were spent with his companion and family. He also formed friendships that lasted his entire lifetime, with a group of friends, whom he cared for deeply.

Eddie was a veteran of the Korean War.

His lifetime passion was the sport of boxing, As such, he managed fighters and promoted boxing events for many years. He also worked in auto sales and owned several nightclubs. For the last 25 years, Eddie worked for his cherished friend, Richard Shappy, as manager of the Cadillac Lounge.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025, from 9:30 am to 11:00 am, followed by a funeral service at Pontarelli-Marino Funeral Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence, RI.

Burial will be private.
