Born in Providence he was the son of the late Lawrence and Margaret ( Pollard ) McGloin and foster son of Bernard and Hazel Quartaro
Edward is survived by his sisters, Patricia L Ciesynski, Karen L. Gonsalves , Nancy Kattan, his nephews, Gerald McGloin, Daniel McGloin, many nieces and nephews Edward led a simple life, well-lived. He was known for his kind and generous nature. He was always ready to lend a hand to whoever among his family or friends were in need. He was truly loved and will be truly missed.
