Edward J. Mulvey, 81, passed away October 3, 2010 surrounded by his loving family in R.I. Hospital after a brief illness. He was the loving husband of Joan (Balletto) Mulvey. On October 8, 2010 they would have celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary.
A lifelong resident of Providence he was the son of the late William and Emma (Waterman) Mulvey. He was also an Army Veteran of the Korean War.
He was the father of Darlene Ventriglia, Loreen Mulvey and Edward J. Mulvey, Jr. and grandfather of Emma Mulvey. He was brother of Robert Mulvey and predeceases 6 other brothers and a sister.
His funeral with visitation will be held Friday between 9 – 10:30 am in the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence, followed by a service in the funeral home at 10:30 am.
