Elaine Fagnant

FAGNANT, ELAINE (ALMONTE), age 67, passed away on August 16, 2011 at Sunny View Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family.Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Angelo Almonte and Santina (Villella) Almonte.She was the loving mother of E. Rodman Howland, Dennis Howland, Kim Howland, and Leslie Ann Howland, all of Warwick. She was the sister of Angelo Almonte of Warwick, Francis Medeiros of East Greenwich, Anthony Almonte of East Greenwich, Anne Toro of Cranston, Peter Almonte of West Warwick, and William Almonte of West Palm Beach, Florida. She was grandmother of Shanelle Owens, Issiah Owens, Mariah Howland, Zachary Howland, Kaylie, and Logan Tucker.Mrs. Fagnant was a certified nursing assistant, and was employed by Sunny View Nursing Home for twenty four years. She studied for her nursing degree, and was three courses short of her degree at the time she became ill. She was a loving and caring person, devoted to her family, who was loved by all who came in contact with her.A funeral service will be held on Saturday August 20th 9:30am at the Solid Rock Church, 1753 Phenix Avenue, Cranston, RI. Interment will follow at St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.Visiting hours will be held on Friday, August 19 th from 4 to 7 pm in Solid Rock Church, 1753 Phenix Avenue, Cranston, RI.Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Boulevard, suite 3004, Warwick, Rhode Island 02886.
