

Coventry Elaine A. Hurley, 70, of Frances Court, died Monday, March 12, 2012, at Kent Hospital after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of Patrick J. Hurley for the past forty-eight years. Mrs. Hurley was a kidney transplant survivor for twenty-five years. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Christopher and Mary Louise (Foley) Daniels. Elaine enjoyed her work as a realtor for P.J. Hurley Realty and Coldwell Banker of Coventry for over twenty years. She attended Saint Xavier High School and graduated from Mount Pleasant High school. Mrs. Hurley was a communicant of Sts. John & Paul Church, and a member of the parish shawl ministry. She enjoyed dining and socializing with her many friends. A wonderful, humble, courageous and marvelous person to have known, she will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Beside her husband Pat, she leaves two sons, Timothy P. Hurley and his wife Linda Gouveia, and Christopher P. Hurley and his wife Vianna M. Hurley; and six loving grandchildren, Vianna, Christopher, Erin and Ryan Hurley and Scott and Nicholas Behm. She was the loving mother of the late Lynn A. Behm. The funeral will be held Friday, at 8:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, (Rt117) Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Sts. John & Paul Church, 341 South Main Street, Coventry. Burial will be in Saint Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich. Visiting hours Thursday, 4 - 8 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Sts. John & Paul Church, 341 South Main Street, Coventry, RI 02816 in her memory will be appreciated.
