PERSKY, ELLA (BERNSTEIN), 101, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2015 at the Barrington Terrace Assisted Living Center in Naples, FL. She was the wife of the late Edward M. Persky, whom she missed so dearly. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Max and Gussie (Halpern) Bernstein. Ella was an avid reader and bridge player and enjoyed listening to music. She experienced a fulfilled life and her greatest joy was being a devoted grandmother to her grandsons, Evan and Blake. She was thrilled that Evan would soon be married to Jacquelyn Dougherty. Ella is survived by her son, Craig Richards and his wife Mary-Frances of Narragansett, RI and Marco Island, FL; her grandsons Evan and Blake Richards; and among other relatives, her nephew Michael Lack and wife Marjorie of Boston, MA and her cousin Anita Stein of Providence. Funeral services will be held Sunday September 27th at 11:00AM at Sugarman-Sinai Memorial Chapel, 458 Hope St, Providence with burial in Lincoln Park Cemetery, Warwick. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Loyola School, 980 Park Ave, NY, NY 10028.
