Elmer F. Gray, 85, formerly of Johnston, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2013 at the Elmhurst Extended Care Facility, in Providence.Born in Providence, he was the son of the late James and Esther (Galvin) Gray.He was a machine operator for the C. J. Fox Company, in Providence for many years.Mr. Gray served his country proudly with the United States Army Air Force during WWII.He leaves his sister, Marie Oliveira, of Victorsville, CA. Elmer also leaves behind several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Owen, James, and William Gray, Theresa Zielinski, and Jean Ingold.Inurnment with military honors will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 11:00 am, in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
