She was the beloved daughter of the late Manuel and Doris Medeiros and was preceded in death by her older brother, Roger Medeiros. Eloise leaves behind a devoted family who will forever cherish her memory: her two sisters, Lois Izzi and her husband Domenic, and Elise Schwartz; her children, Eloise Ricci and her husband William, and Robert Branch Sr. and his wife Tarra; and her daughter-in-law, Stacy Branch.
Eloise was a proud and devoted grandmother to twelve grandchildren—Alexmarie, Anthony, Ariana, Aaron, Ana, Andon, Andrew, Aidan, Austin, Ashton, Robert Jr., and Brandon—and a doting great-grandmother to Cora Jade, Carter Grace, Enzo Manuel, and Cameron Peter. She is also survived by seven loving nieces and nephews: Dawn Martins, Kathy Palumbo, LoAnn Natale, Joseph Schwartz, John Schwartz, Jacqueline Jesus, and Jesse Schwartz. She was the loving aunt of the late Domenic Izzi Jr. and Jeremy Schwartz.
She served her community with dedication as a dispatcher for the Providence Housing Authority. Outside of work, Eloise found her greatest joy in the company of her children, grandchildren, and especially her great-grandchildren. She was deeply cherished by her neighbors, with whom she often shared stories about her family with pride and affection.
Eloise’s passions were simple and full of love: doting on her dog Chi Chi, browsing her favorite shops, indulging in seafood, and buying small, thoughtful gifts for the people she cared about. Her generous heart, sharp humor, and deep love for life left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.
Eloise will be remembered always for her warmth, her laughter, her giving spirit, and the unwavering love she poured into her family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Monday, July 28, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery Chapel, 550 Wampanoag Trail, East Providence.
