Emanuele P. “Manny” DiMundo Sr., 71, passed away surrounded by his loving family and friends on November 5, 2013. Beloved husband of Deborah M. (Cardillo) DiMundo; cherished son of the late Amelia A. (Villella) DiMundo, who passed away just 8 weeks ago, and the late Rocco DiMundo; devoted father of Rocco DiMundo, Kim Magnelli and her husband Steven, and Emanuele “Manny” DiMundo, Jr. and his wife Marina; cherished grandfather of Taylor, Zachary, Marissa and Lauren.
Manny was the owner and operator for 51 years of Deluxe Oil Co. and Deluxe Service Center. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and lived his life to the fullest.
Visitation will be held Friday, 4-7 p.m. Funeral services Saturday at 10 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence , followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Pius V Church, Eaton Street, Providence. Graveside burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Pius V Church, 55 Elmhurst Avenue, Providence, RI 02908.
