Cooley, Estelle E.(Washington) age 86 of Irving Ave, Formerly of Providence, passed away on January 3rd at Linn Health Care Center in East Providence. Born in East Providence a daughter of the late Viola M. (Briggs) Washington. Before her retirement, Mrs. Cooley was employed by The State of RI as Nursing Assistant with the Institute of Mental Health. She was a member of St. Martin dePores Senior Center in Providence and a long time volunteer with Classical High School and Woman & Infants Hospital. Estelle was a loving and caring person who will be missed by many. Beloved mother of Leslie Barrows and husband Manuel Jr. of Johnston and Vanessa Cooley of Lincoln. Loving sister of Mabel I. Irby of No. Kingstown. She was the mother of the late Warren D. and the late William B. Cooley Jr.Other survivors include many grand, greatgrand and great-greatgrand children, as well as a host of many numerous Family and friends. A funeral service will be held on MONDAY at 9am in The RUSSELL J. BOYLE & Son Funeral Home 331 Smith St, PROVIDENCE, a graveside burial will follow in Lakeside Cemetery in Rumford RI.
