

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Edward and Anita (Pisco) Patrone.
Ettore served his community as a Providence firefighter (Union Local 799) for 33 years as a Deputy Assistant Chief before retiring in 1982. He fought for our nation honorably as a gunman in the United States Navy during World War II. Most of all, Ettore loved his family, and adored his great grandchildren.
Besides his wife, he leaves a son, James E. Patrone, two daughters Helene R. Tavarozzi and her husband Edward Sr. ( Ret. Providence Firefighter ) and Lisa Patrone-D’Amelio, two grandsons, Edward F. Tavarozzi Jr and his wife Maria and Michael A. Tavarozzi, Sr ( Lt. on North Providence Police Dept. ) and his wife Marnie. He also leaves 5 great grandchildren, Mia, Madison, Michael Jr., Grace, and Ella Tavarozzi. He was the brother of the late Emmanuel and Eugene Patrone also retired Providence Firefighters.
His funeral will be held on Tuesday, at 8:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Blessed Sacrament Church, 179 Academy Avenue, Providence. Burial, with full military honors, will follow in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Monday evening from 4 to 8 pm.
