Francesco Rizzo

Francesco was the devoted husband of Maria A. (Aceto) Rizzo, with whom he shared 39 wonderful years of marriage. He was the beloved father of Antonia Lee and her husband Ryan, Antonino Rizzo, and the cherished Nonno of Tai and Sienna Lee. He is also survived by his loving brothers Giovanni Rizzo and his wife Shirley, Calogero Rizzo and his wife Angela, and Leo Rizzo and his partner Korie. He is the loving uncle of many nieces and nephews.

A respected figure in the jewelry industry, Francesco owned and operated Antonia’s Inc. for many years before retiring, Francesco was also a proud member of the Santa Maria Di Prata Society Club. Known for his warm heart and generous spirit, he found joy in life’s simple pleasures playing Bocce, soccer, fishing and Quahogging.

He enjoyed watching Juventus on the weekends with his son, he enjoyed time with all his family and friends here and in Sicily.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Romano Funeral Home, 627 Union Avenue, Providence, RI 02909. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a

Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston, RI 02920. Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery.

Francesco will be remembered for his unwavering love for family, his dedication to his work, and his zest for life. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
