Frank Nicola DiMaio, Jr.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Frank N. and Carmella (Ravo) DiMaio.

He was the father of Amanda DiMaio, Stephanie DiMaio, Nicholas DiMaio, Kandace Winslow, Denise DiMaio, Diane Gartman and proud grandfather of 6. He was also the brother of the late Robert and Vincent DiMaio.

Frank was school bus driver for First Student for 23 years and a U.S Army Veteran who served in the Vietnam War. Frank was a talented musician, gifted singer, and an avid animal lover who cared deeply for his dog Legend and his “grand puppy” Zelda. He was also a huge fan of the Boston Red Sox and a firm believer in aliens and UFO’s. Frank had the greatest sense of humor and a knack for quick witted dad jokes.

Heaven just became a little bit funnier.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM in the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a Memorial Service in the funeral home at 10:30 AM. Inurnment with Military Honors to follow in St. Ann Cemetery.
