Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Ernest and Clara (Porcaro) Pitochelli and had been the husband of Jacqueline E. (Dolan) Pitochelli for 43 years.
Mr. Pitochelli was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII, after which he served in the U.S. Army National Guard.
Mr. Pitochelli was the father of Paula A. Ricci, Johnna M. Pitochelli, Frank A. Pitochelli Jr., Joseph P. Gildea and the late Claire A. Volante; grandfather of 7; great-grandfather of 2; brother of Ernest and Edward Pitochelli and Anna Romano.
Visitation and funeral services will be held Wednesday, 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 p.m. in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the V.A.
