

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Guiseppe and Fortuna (Reali) Quinterno; beloved husband of the late Lucy (Russo) Quinterno; devoted father of Frank V. Quinterno Jr. and his wife Marianne, Linda A. Malloy and her husband Thomas; cherished grandfather of Kimberly DeCellio, Thomas F. and Brian J. Malloy, Vanessa R. Dean and Lauren A. Quinterno; great-grandfather of 7; brother of Vincent Quinterno, Julia Ursone and Ann Bruscini.
Mr. Quinterno was the owner and operator of Quinn Packing Company and had also served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was the former director of the Public Works Department in the Town of North Providence, member of the Wanskuck Boys Club Hall of Fame and was a member of the V.F.W. Lymansville Post.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, 4-8 p.m. with a funeral service on Thursday at 8 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:15 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence, followed by graveside burial with Military Honors in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
