Born in Tacoma, Washington, he was the son of the late Frederick and Amelia (Martinous) Charnley.
Fred was the father of Deborah Charnley and Maya Cowen and sister of Lorraine Soccio.
A Commital Prayer will be held Friday, July 6, 2012 at 10:00 am in St. Joseph Cemetery, Nooseneck Hill Road, West Greenwich.
